Welcome to the Northern British Bike Championship

Poachers Pre 65 Trials Club are proud to co-ordinate the Northern British Bike Championship.

Currently a seven round road trial series for classic pre 65 British solo trials bikes.

Our events are supported by some of the most active companies in off road sport.

Each round consists of a single lap of ideally 25 miles with approximately 60% off road and 40% using minor B and C roads.

Each of the six host clubs is responsible for setting out their own event and most events have approximately 35 sections that have dual routes for Expert and Clubman riders.

Riders best 6 results will count towards the final Championship position with awards usually being presented at Alan Wright’s Show in February where the NBBC displays a stand.

New Sponsors

The co-ordinators of the championship are very pleased to welcome on board for 2015, Trials UK as new sponsors for the 7 rounds of traditional classic road trials that are hosted by the best of Northern classic trials clubs.

Trials UK are based in Horsforth, Leeds and have sales of new and used trials bikes, plus all the clothing and equipment that any rider would need to go trialling, in speaking to Trials UK Nige Pearson told us “We have lots of classic customers that buy clothing, helmets and boots from us, we also stock the full range of Rock Oil products which are also one of the championships major sponsors, so we are pleased to be involved.”  Trials UK have an excellent mail order side to their business, so if you can’t get to the shop just check out their website.

We would also like to thank Wulfsport for their support over the last two years, they are now moving onto sponsor other events, but they will be on hand at Telford for their final presentation for the 2014 awards.
